Fandom: The Fantastic Journey
Summary: The travellers are weary and could do with a rest.
They’d all benefit from a few days’ rest, even Sil-El. The cat probably found being carried a bit tedious. Unfortunately, there was nothing resembling civilisation in this zone, or the previous zone, and the one before that, the inhabitants had been distinctly unfriendly. Knowing they weren’t welcome, they’d left as quickly as they could.
“Maybe there’ll be people in the next zone,” Scott said, with all the optimism of youth.
“Perhaps,” Varian agreed. “But first we have to get there, and it will be dark soon.”
“Yeah.” Fred nodded. “Better make camp for the night.”
Sleep had its own benefits.

It's a bit hokey, the special effects are mostly awful, but I adore the characters, and I love writing them.
